How it works

  1. 1Upload a photoA straight-on photo at eye level, neutral face, good light. Or take a selfie.
  2. 2We measure in your browser478 landmarks are mapped on your device and small head turns are corrected. The photo is never uploaded.
  3. 3Get your face battle resultSee the numbers with the lines drawn on your photo. Same photo, same result, every time.

Face battle compares two faces with the same measurements: symmetry, facial thirds, golden ratio, eyes, jawline and proportions. Both photos are scored in your browser, then shown side by side so you can see who wins each feature — not just the total.

How Face Battle works

  1. Upload two photos — Photo A and Photo B. If you already uploaded a photo on another tool, it is used as Photo A.
  2. Choose Woman or Man for each photo. Jaw, brow and dimorphism are scored against different reference ranges, so a mixed pair is compared fairly.
  3. Both faces are measured the same way: 478 landmarks, head-angle correction, and eight areas — symmetry, eyes, jawline, proportions, facial thirds, golden ratio, dimorphism and harmony.
  4. See who wins overall and in each of the eight areas, side by side.

Everything runs in your browser. Neither photo is uploaded, and the same two photos always give the same result.

Who is more attractive? Reading the result

The overall result compares the two 1–10 scores. The area-by-area table is usually more interesting: two faces with similar totals often win in completely different places — one on symmetry and eyes, the other on jawline and proportions. A difference of a few tenths of a point is within what a different photo of the same person can change, so treat close results as a tie.

For a fair comparison, use photos taken the same way: both straight on, at eye level, at a similar distance, with neutral expressions and similar light. A close-up selfie against a portrait taken from further away is not a fair fight.

Ways people use Face Battle

  • Compare your own photos — before and after a haircut, beard, weight change or skincare routine, or two profile pictures to see which flatters your proportions.
  • Friendly challenges with a friend or partner who wants to play too.
  • Test angles and setups — the same face at arm's length vs a close selfie shows how much the camera changes a rating.

Only compare adults who have agreed to it, and do not share results that could embarrass someone. For a single detailed rating, use the attractiveness test; to compare your photos over time, the looksmaxxing test shows which areas moved.

Frequently asked questions

Is Face Battle free?

Yes. Both scores and the full area-by-area comparison are free, with no sign-up, and both photos are measured in your browser without being uploaded.

Can I compare a man and a woman?

Yes. Choose Woman or Man for each photo; each face is scored against its own reference ranges, then the results are compared.

Why did the same person win one battle and lose another?

Photo setup changes scores: angle, distance, expression and light can move a rating by more than the gap between two people. Compare photos taken the same way, and treat differences of a few tenths of a point as a tie.

Can I compare celebrities or strangers?

Please do not. Only compare adults who have agreed to it — yourself, or friends who want to play. Rating people without consent can hurt them and breaks our content policy.
